E-Bill is a brand operated by Teasy Services, a company registered in India. E-Bill is a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform that provides automated invoice generation, WhatsApp-based billing, and payment management tools for operators (businesses, ISPs, cable operators, service providers) across India. Our platform is accessible at app.e-bill.in.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information from operators who register on our platform:
- Personal & Business Information: Name, business name, email address, mobile number, GST Identification Number (GSTIN), PAN, and address.
- Financial Information: Wallet transaction history, plan subscription data, top-up amounts. We do not store card or bank details — payments are processed by third-party payment gateways.
- Customer Data (Input by Operator): Names, phone numbers, and service details of the operator's customers that are entered into the E-Bill platform.
- Usage Data: Log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and platform interactions for security and improvement purposes.
- WhatsApp Data: For Pro plan users, we process message delivery via WhatsApp Business API. Message content includes invoice details sent on your behalf.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your E-Bill operator account
- To generate, store, and deliver invoices on your behalf
- To process wallet transactions and payment gateway integrations
- To send service notifications, billing alerts, and platform updates
- To provide customer support
- To comply with legal obligations including GST filing requirements
- To improve and develop the E-Bill platform
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We may share data with:
- Payment Gateway Providers: To process transactions (Razorpay, Cashfree, or similar), subject to their privacy policies.
- WhatsApp Business API Providers: For Pro plan message delivery, subject to Meta's policies.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Hosting and data storage providers under strict data processing agreements.
- Legal Authorities: When required by Indian law, court order, or regulatory bodies (including GST authorities).
5. Your Customers' Data
As an operator, you are the data controller for your customers' information entered into E-Bill. You are responsible for:
- Obtaining appropriate consent from your customers before entering their data
- Ensuring the accuracy of customer information
- Informing customers that their invoices are generated and sent via E-Bill
E-Bill processes this data only on your instruction and for the purpose of delivering the platform's services.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption, secure database access controls, and regular security audits. However, no internet-based platform can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and transaction data for a minimum of 7 years as required under Indian tax laws (GST Act, Income Tax Act). After account deletion, anonymized data may be retained for analytics.
8. Your Rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Object to certain processing activities
